Miami Fish Market
Situated along the Miami River, this project explores the design of a contemporary fish market that responds to the site’s working waterfront, tropical climate, and historical precedents. The proposal frames the market as both an infrastructure for commerce and a civic space, where the daily rhythms of fishing, trade, and public life intersect. Through a focus on openness and community, the design seeks to connect river and city while celebrating the sensory experience of seafood, water, and movement that defines Miami’s riverfront.
